Enter a Basler, Cognex, FLIR, Daheng, IDS or Keyence model — we compare its specifications with our catalog using published sources and show plainly what matches, what differs and what an engineer still has to check.
The cross-reference accepts a camera, lens, code reader or smart-camera model from another manufacturer and proposes Hikrobot products with comparable specifications. The search understands derived spellings and regulatory numbers from the nameplate as well as aliases: for a number shared by a whole family the tool asks which device is meant. Comparison is done on datasheet parameters, not on series names, and every match gets a level: from “replacement without degradation” to “engineer review”.
Example 1. A competitor camera on the Sony IMX264 sensor (2/3″, 2448 × 2048 px, global shutter, monochrome, GigE, C-mount): candidates are Hikrobot cameras on the same sensor with the same interface; frame rates are compared in the base full-frame mode. A candidate with a larger sensor or USB3 instead of GigE is listed lower with the difference stated.
Example 2. A 25 mm f/1.4 lens for 2/3″: candidates are Hikrobot 25 mm lenses with an image circle of at least 11 mm and a C-mount; a faster lens or one for a larger format qualifies, a slower lens is marked as a degradation.
Example 3. A nameplate number such as “MODEL 50208” is entered: the tool recognises the regulatory number, finds the family and asks which device is meant when the number is shared by several.
All key parameters of the candidate are confirmed and not worse than the source product. If even one parameter of the source is unknown, this level cannot be reached and the candidate is flagged for engineer review.
Either the source specifications are unknown or the Hikrobot catalogue has no product of the same class (for example, specialised readers). In those cases the tool shows “engineer review” rather than an invented replacement.
Comparison pages exist for Basler, Cognex, KEYENCE, Baumer, JAI, SICK, Datalogic and other brands; the list keeps growing. If a model is missing, its parameters can be entered manually.
