Four-stream multirate GigE acquisition
Four independent RJ45 connections position MV-GE4004 for multi-camera GigE and 2.5 GigE acquisition. Each port negotiates 10, 100, 1000 or 2500 Mbit/s under IEEE 802.3, and the board supports four cameras and four streams. Data reaches the host through PCI-E gen2 × 4 at up to 2000 MB/s, with 9 KB jumbo frames available.
The card supports four-view component inspection, parallel process cameras and mixed-rate camera replacement within one host. Its own consumption is 6.3 W, mass is approximately 190 g and dimensions are 181 × 126.3 × 21.6 mm. The operating interval is 0 to 55 °C, while storage extends from -20 to 70 °C and humidity from 10% RH to 95% RH.
MV-GE4004P keeps four ports, four streams and 2000 MB/s host transfer, explicitly supports PoE, consumes 6.1 W without camera loads and weighs about 210 g. MV-GE4002 halves the port and stream counts to two and consumes 4 W. Choose MV-GE4004 when four cameras and their combined acquisition belong on one PCI-E gen2 × 4 adapter.

Selection and applications
Four-camera 2.5 GigE inspection. Mixed-rate process acquisition. Four-stream RJ45 camera capture.
Minimum kit: Install MV-GE4004 in PCI-E gen2 × 4, connect up to four GigE or 2.5 GigE cameras through RJ45, and provide host power for 6.3 W.
Nearby in the range: MV-GE4004P — Prefer it when four RJ45 ports must supply PoE as well as camera data; MV-GE4002 — Prefer it when two camera ports and two streams are sufficient.
FAQ
Can all four ports run GigE and 2.5 GigE camera links?
Yes. Each RJ45 port supports 10, 100, 1000 and 2500 Mbit/s, and the board accepts GigE or 2.5 GigE industrial cameras. Four cameras and four streams are supported under IEEE 802.3.
What maximum host bandwidth is available for four streams?
The PCI-E gen2 × 4 host connection is specified for 2000 MB/s maximum transmission bandwidth. The Ethernet side supports 9 KB jumbo frames across the four camera interfaces.
How should camera power be arranged with the MV-GE4004?
MV-GE4004 provides four RJ45 ports, four streams and 2000 MB/s maximum transmission bandwidth. The directly comparable MV-GE4004P also provides four ports and four streams and explicitly supports PoE.
What board consumption, weight and size should be allowed?
The board consumes 6.3 W, weighs approximately 190 g and measures 181 × 126.3 × 21.6 mm. The host also needs a PCI-E gen2 × 4 slot and airflow consistent with the 0 to 55 °C working range.
How does the two-port MV-GE4002 reduce system capacity?
MV-GE4002 supports two cameras and two streams instead of four. It keeps the same multirate links, 9 KB jumbo frames, PCI-E gen2 × 4 and 2000 MB/s maximum host bandwidth, but consumes 4 W.
