High-resolution logistics role

MV-ID6200M uses a 1-inch monochrome CMOS sensor to cover 5440 × 3648 at up to 20 fps. Its rolling shutter is paired with exposure from 16 µs to 0.5 sec and gain from 0 dB to 40 dB. The decoder handles as many as 60 codes/sec across the listed 1D, QR Code and Data Matrix formats, and Gigabit Ethernet links the reader to the host.

The broad frame suits large package faces, varied label positions or fine code modules when the conveyor can be triggered to control rolling-shutter motion. A lens cap is included, and the reader provides three opto-isolated inputs for line events plus three isolated outputs for decisions. The 12 VDC to 24 VDC supply range allows it to share common machine power while RS-232 offers a local serial path.

MV-ID6200EM uses the same 5440 × 3648 resolution but is limited to 10 fps and 30 codes/sec; it is shorter and rated IP64. MV-ID6120PM records 4096 × 3072 at 28 fps and 84 codes/sec with a global shutter. Choose MV-ID6200M for added pixel coverage at 20 fps, the EM for a shallower body, or MV-ID6120PM when motion and decoding rate take precedence.

Selection and applications

Broad package-face reading. Triggered logistics code capture. Gigabit multi-label decoding.

Minimum kit: Install MV-ID6200M with optics matched to its 1-inch sensor, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, a 12-pin M12 power and I/O lead, and a 12 VDC to 24 VDC source.

Nearby in the range: MV-ID6200EM — Prefer it for a 55.3 mm body depth when 10 fps and IP64 are sufficient; MV-ID6120PM — Prefer it for global-shutter 4096 × 3072 imaging at 28 fps and 84 codes/sec.

FAQ

How should a conveyor trigger be set for MV-ID6200M?

Use one of the three opto-isolated inputs to align acquisition with a repeatable package position. The sensor uses a rolling shutter at 20 fps, so set exposure within the 16 µs to 0.5 sec range short enough to control line-by-line motion distortion.

What resolution and decoding rate does MV-ID6200M sustain?

MV-ID6200M records 5440 × 3648 monochrome images from a 1-inch CMOS sensor. Maximum frame rate is 20 fps and reading speed is rated at 60 codes/sec for its listed 1D formats, QR Code and Data Matrix.

What wiring is used for an MV-ID6200M installation?

Gigabit Ethernet carries network traffic. A 12-pin M12 connector provides power and I/O, including three opto-isolated inputs, three opto-isolated outputs and one RS-232 channel. The allowed supply is 12 VDC to 24 VDC.

How much power and enclosure protection does MV-ID6200M have?

Consumption is 12 W at 24 VDC. The housing is rated IP67 when the waterproof lens cap is installed correctly, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and is specified for 20% to 95% RH without condensation.

When does MV-ID6120PM fit the line better than MV-ID6200M?

MV-ID6120PM is preferable when a global shutter, 28 fps or 84 codes/sec matters more than 5440 × 3648 coverage. It records 4096 × 3072; MV-ID6200M instead uses a rolling shutter at 20 fps and 60 codes/sec.
