Global-shutter code reading
A mono CMOS global-shutter image sensor gives MV-IDH5000P its motion-oriented reading profile. The optical system covers 43° × 35° and combines red and blue diffuse illumination with white direct illumination. It reads the listed mainstream 1D formats, including Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar and EAN/UPC, as well as Data Matrix, QR Code, Micro QR and PDF417.
Global exposure makes the reader suited to hand motion and moving labels because the image is acquired across the sensor at one instant. Diffuse red or blue light provides alternatives for surfaces that return direct light unevenly, while white direct light supplies a separate illumination geometry. USB HID/CDC and RS-232 allow either host-style manual entry or serial transfer to industrial equipment.
MV-IDH5000P occupies a protected wired position among the handheld models. MV-IDH2000P uses USB 2.0 with SmartSDK, Serial and USB HID/CDC communication and is rated IP42; choose it when the documented 3 mil 1D and 4 mil 2D limits govern selection. MV-IDH7000P adds a 1280 × 800 sensor plus Fast Ethernet variants, while MV-IDH9000 raises protection from IP65 to IP67.
