SCMVS: configuration software for Hikrobot SC1000, SC2000 and SC3000 smart cameras
In SCMVS you create and edit the solution that runs directly on the smart camera: work with acquired or loaded images, set up inputs and outputs, the link to the controller, time, firmware, password and user roles, and read the device and client logs. SC5000X and SC6000 smart cameras need a different program, SC_VisionMaster; ordinary industrial cameras use MVS.

The installer is hosted on the MVisionPro server; it is the manufacturer's package with an English interface. The version, check date and size update automatically after a new file is verified. The SHA-256 checksum is in the downloads manifest.

The manufacturer has no Linux or macOS versions.
What is new in 3.3.3
support for SC3020X, SC3060X and SC3016 with firmware V4.4.4, training during registration, and extended lighting modes for SC2000X and SC3000X (from the manufacturer's release description).
First run, step by step
- Install SCMVS — the drivers are included in the package.
- Set up the network: give the computer a fixed IP address, find the camera in the list or add it as a remote device; use «Edit IP Address» to bring the camera into the computer's subnet. Take the network card parameters for your model: gigabit camera settings should not be copied to an SC1000 with a 100 Mbit port.
- Log in to the camera. The SC1000 factory password is given in its manual — change it after the first login. Other series have their own password, see the model's manual.
- Working order in a project: create or open a project → image parameters → base image → calibration if needed → tools → outputs → save → run and check the result.

How is SCMVS different from VisionMaster and SC_VisionMaster?
SCMVS configures the solution that runs inside SC1000, SC2000 and SC3000 smart cameras. VisionMaster is a PC environment with hundreds of tools and an SDK. SC_VisionMaster is a separate program for SC5000X and SC6000 smart cameras.
Which cameras need SCMVS?
The SC1000, SC2000 and SC3000 series. If you have an SC5000X or SC6000, download SC_VisionMaster from the VisionMaster page. Not sure about the series — send us the part number and we will tell you.
Is there SCMVS for Linux or macOS?
No, the manufacturer releases it for Windows only.

Check power and the cable, the subnet of the computer and the camera, add the device by IP as a remote device, and compare the network card parameters with the model's manual.
Does SCMVS need a license?
Configuring SC1000–SC3000 cameras needs no program license; the capabilities depend on the camera model and firmware.
