Hikrobot MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN

Small-body mono CXP role

A 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm fanless body carries the 93.9 fps mono imaging chain of MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN. The 1.1-inch Gpixel GMAX3412 records 4096 × 3072 Mono 8 with 3.4 µm pixels, global exposure and 59.7 dB dynamic range. Its C-mount specifies a 17.52 mm optical back focal length, while data leaves through CoaXPress with Micro-BNC. Approximate camera mass is 90 g, supporting placement where head size is tightly constrained.

The mono global frame supports measurement of moving edges, alignment features and surface contrast at a high sample rate. Exposure begins at 6 µs and can extend to 10 sec, while gain covers 0 dB to 6.1 dB. The 6-pin P7 connector provides isolated trigger input and output plus one bidirectional non-isolated line. PoCXP can feed the camera through the receiving architecture, or a 12 VDC to 24 VDC external source can be used at typical consumption of 5 W at 12 VDC.

MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN is the compact counterpart to MV-CH120-90Y1M-NH. They share the sensor, mono frame and 93.9 fps rate, but NH adds a heat sink, grows to 29 mm × 85 mm × 42 mm and raises the upper working limit from 40 °C to 50 °C. MV-CH120-90Y1C-NN keeps the small body and Micro-BNC transport but outputs Bayer GB 8 colour. MV-CH120-90Y2M-C-NN reduces frame height to 3008 pixels and increases mono rate to 149 fps.

Selection and applications

Compact mono inspection at 93.9 fps. Micro-BNC CoaXPress edge measurement. 6 µs global-shutter capture at 4096 × 3072.

Minimum kit: MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN, a C-mount lens, a Micro-BNC CoaXPress cable and PoCXP or 12 VDC to 24 VDC power provide the minimum chain.

Nearby in the range: MV-CH120-90Y1M-NH — Prefer it for the same 93.9 fps mono output with a heat sink and operation up to 50 °C; MV-CH120-90Y2M-C-NN — Prefer it for 149 fps Mono 8 with a 4096 × 3008 frame.

FAQ

What is the complete full-frame mono operating point?

MV-CH120-90Y1M-NN outputs 4096 × 3072 Mono 8 at up to 93.9 fps. The 1.1-inch Gpixel GMAX3412 has 3.4 µm × 3.4 µm pixels, global shutter and 59.7 dB dynamic range.

How do Micro-BNC and PoCXP simplify the camera connection?

The data interface is CoaXPress with Micro-BNC and supports PoCXP. Where external power is preferred, the camera accepts 12 VDC to 24 VDC and typically uses 5 W at 12 VDC.

Which exposure, gain and I/O controls are available?

Exposure ranges from 6 µs to 10 sec and gain from 0 dB to 6.1 dB. The P7 connector adds one isolated input, one isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O line.

What ambient limit follows from the small fanless NN housing?

The enclosure has neither a fan nor a heat sink and is specified from 0 °C to 40 °C. IP40 applies with the lens and wiring correctly installed, and humidity may range from 20% RH to 95% RH without condensation.

How does MV-CH120-90Y2M-C-NN exchange frame area for speed?

The Y2 mono model records 4096 × 3008 at 149 fps, compared with this camera's 4096 × 3072 at 93.9 fps. Both use a 1.1-inch Gpixel GMAX3412, C-mount and Micro-BNC CoaXPress.
