Mono 2K acquisition with 2-TDI
A 2048 × 2 mono CMOS array with selectable 1-line and 2-TDI imaging places MV-CL024-91GM between the single-row 2K model and longer 4K cameras. Its 7 × 7 µm pixels output Mono 8/10/12. Maximum rate is 58 kHz in standard Mono 8 and 86 kHz in high-bandwidth Mono 8, with Gigabit Ethernet used for image transport and Fast Ethernet retained as a compatible link.
The two imaging modes let an integrator choose straightforward line capture or 2-TDI operation for a moving surface. Exposure spans 3 µs to 10 ms, and four configurable I/O lines support single-ended or differential timing signals. These characteristics suit conveyor-driven mono inspection where line timing, illumination and transport must be coordinated without the data volume of a 4096-pixel line.
MV-CL022-91GM uses 14 µm pixels and a 2048 × 1 array, while its high-bandwidth ceiling is 100 kHz. MV-CL024-91GC preserves the 7 µm pitch but changes to a 2048 × 3 color array at up to 70 kHz. If line length takes priority, MV-CL042-91GM provides 4096 × 2 sampling over Gigabit Ethernet, with an 80 kHz maximum.

Selection and applications
2-TDI mono web inspection. 2K encoder-synchronized scanning. Mono inspection at 86 kHz.
Minimum kit: Combine the MV-CL024-91GM camera with an M42*1.0 line-scan lens, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, and a 12 V DC to 24 V DC source.
Nearby in the range: MV-CL022-91GM — Prefer it for a 2048 × 1 mono line at up to 100 kHz; MV-CL024-91GC — Prefer it when the 2048-pixel task requires color output; MV-CL042-91GM — Prefer it when 4096 samples are needed across the scan line.

FAQ
When should the 2-TDI mode of MV-CL024-91GM be selected?
MV-CL024-91GM supports both 1-line and 2-TDI image modes on its 2048 × 2 mono array. The choice can therefore follow the illumination and motion arrangement, while the camera retains Mono 8/10/12 output and a 3 µs to 10 ms exposure range.
What maximum rates apply to MV-CL024-91GM Mono 8 output?
Mono 8 reaches 58 kHz in standard mode and 86 kHz in high-bandwidth mode. The acquisition host and network configuration should be selected for the chosen mode, and Fast Ethernet compatibility should not be treated as the same transport capacity as Gigabit Ethernet.
Which lens mount is built into the MV-CL024-91GM housing?
The camera uses an M42*1.0 mount with a 12 mm flange back length. An appropriate line-scan lens should cover the 2048-pixel line and resolve the 7 × 7 µm mono pixels over the required object width.
What are the power and enclosure conditions for MV-CL024-91GM?
Supply the camera with 12 V DC to 24 V DC and allow for 5.2 W consumption. The 62 × 62 × 40.5 mm housing is IP40 and is rated to work from -20 °C to 55 °C at 5% RH to 90% RH.
Does MV-CL024-91GM provide differential timing connections?
Yes. Its four configurable input/output lines support both single-ended and differential signaling. This gives the machine controller a documented route for timing inputs and outputs alongside the separate Gigabit Ethernet data connection.
