Compact 4K color capture over 2.5 GigE
A 29 mm × 44 mm × 59 mm C-mount body separates MV-CL042-B1NC from the larger 4K line-scan cameras. The color CMOS array provides 4096 × 2 resolution with 3.5 × 3.5 µm pixels. Its 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port also works at 1000 Mbit/s and 100 Mbit/s, combining a compact optical package with a network link above standard Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth.
At full line length, Bayer BRGG 8 reaches 75.4 kHz, Mono 8 or Bayer RG 8 reaches 63 kHz, Mono 10/12 and Bayer RG 10/12 reach 37.7 kHz, and RGB 8/BGR 8 reaches 25.1 kHz. With a reduced region of interest of 2452 pixels or below, Bayer BRGG 8 can reach 126 kHz. This makes format and inspected width central to setting the transport speed.
MV-CL042-B1NM keeps the same 4096 × 2 sensor geometry, 3.5 µm pitch, C-mount housing and network link, but provides mono 1-Line/2-TDI operation and reaches 105 kHz after a reduced region of interest. MV-CL042-91FC is a 7 µm color model with an LC fiber link and 100 kHz ceiling. MV-CL044-91NC uses 7 µm pixels, an M42*1.0 mount and a 4096 × 3 array over 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.

Selection and applications
Compact 4K color inspection. Bayer scanning at 75.4 kHz. Reduced-width capture at 126 kHz.
Minimum kit: Use the MV-CL042-B1NC camera, a C-mount line-scan lens, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet cable and receiver, and a suitable camera power source.
Nearby in the range: MV-CL042-B1NM — Prefer it for mono 1-Line or 2-TDI operation in the same compact body; MV-CL042-91FC — Prefer it for 7 µm color pixels and an LC fiber connection; MV-CL044-91NC — Prefer it for a 4096 × 3 array and an M42*1.0 mount.

FAQ
How does pixel format affect MV-CL042-B1NC full-line speed?
Full-resolution maxima range from 75.4 kHz for Bayer BRGG 8 and 63 kHz for Mono 8/Bayer RG 8 to 37.7 kHz for 10/12-bit mono or Bayer output and 25.1 kHz for RGB 8/BGR 8. The format must therefore be chosen with the required line rate.
What reduced-width condition gives MV-CL042-B1NC its 126 kHz rate?
The 126 kHz maximum is specified for Bayer BRGG 8 after a reduced region of interest at 2452 pixels or below. At the complete 4096-pixel line, the listed Bayer BRGG 8 limit is 75.4 kHz.
Which lens mount suits the compact MV-CL042-B1NC body?
MV-CL042-B1NC uses a native C-mount. The selected line-scan lens should cover the 4096 × 2 color array, resolve its 3.5 × 3.5 µm pixels and provide the object-side coverage required by the inspection width.
Can MV-CL042-B1NC connect to existing Gigabit Ethernet hardware?
Yes. Its main interface is 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet at 2500 Mbit/s, and it is compatible with 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet and 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet. The lower link selections provide less transport bandwidth than the primary mode.
What changes between MV-CL042-B1NC and MV-CL042-B1NM?
Both use a 4096 × 2 array with 3.5 µm pixels, C-mount and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. MV-CL042-B1NC is color and lists Bayer and RGB/BGR formats; MV-CL042-B1NM is mono and supports 1-Line plus 2-TDI.
