Four-row mono acquisition over Ethernet

An 8192 × 4 monochrome sensor with 1-line, 2-TDI and 4-TDI operation gives MV-CL084-91GM a multi-row role on Gigabit Ethernet. The CMOS device uses 5 μm pixels. Standard rates are 14 kHz for Mono 8, 7 kHz for Mono 10/12 and 9.4 kHz for packed Mono 10/12. High-bandwidth operation reaches 29.8 kHz in Mono 8 and 20 kHz in Mono 10/12, allowing format and integration depth to be selected together.

Four I/O lines on the 12-pin P10 connector can be configured as inputs or outputs and support single-ended or differential use. Power input is 12 VDC to 24 VDC, with 12.4 W consumption. The M72*0.75 lens mount has a 12 mm flange back. A housing size of 80 mm × 80 mm × 46.3 mm and weight of 465 g define mounting needs. IP40 protection and a –20 to 55 °C operating range apply, with storage from –30 to 80 °C.

MV-CL084-91GM adds two sensor rows and 4-TDI compared with the 8192 × 2 MV-CL082-92GM, although that model reaches 50 kHz in high-bandwidth mode. MV-CL084-B1NM retains 8192 × 4 and 4-TDI but uses 7 × 7 μm pixels and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet; it reaches 37.6 kHz at full resolution in Mono 8 for 1-Line or 2-TDI and peaks at 75.6 kHz. MV-CL043-A1GM-V2 uses a shorter 4096 × 3 line, adds 3-TDI and fits an M42*1.0 lens.

Selection and applications

8192-pixel 4-TDI inspection. Packed mono Ethernet acquisition. Multi-row monochrome surface scanning.

Minimum kit: Pair MV-CL084-91GM with an M72*0.75 lens, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, and a 12 VDC to 24 VDC source through the 12-pin P10 connection.

Nearby in the range: MV-CL082-92GM — Prefer it for an 8192 × 2 sensor with 50 kHz high-bandwidth operation; MV-CL084-B1NM — Prefer it for 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and higher full-resolution Mono 8 rates; MV-CL043-A1GM-V2 — Prefer it when a 4096 × 3 line, 3-TDI and an M42*1.0 mount fit the station.

FAQ

How does pixel format change the standard MV-CL084-91GM rate?

Standard operation reaches 14 kHz in Mono 8, 7 kHz in Mono 10 or Mono 12, and 9.4 kHz in Mono 10Packed or Mono 12Packed. The selected format therefore changes the available line rate.

What does high-bandwidth mode provide on MV-CL084-91GM?

The high-bandwidth maximum is 29.8 kHz for Mono 8 and 20 kHz for Mono 10 or Mono 12. Those rates are carried over Gigabit Ethernet, which is also compatible with Fast Ethernet.

Which TDI depths are selectable for MV-CL084-91GM inspection?

The 8192 × 4 monochrome CMOS device offers 1-line, 2-TDI and 4-TDI modes. Its 5 μm pixels and 54.8 dB dynamic range apply across that stated sensor arrangement.

How are signals and power wired on the MV-CL084-91GM?

The 12-pin P10 connection provides four lines configurable as input or output, with single-ended and differential operation. The camera accepts 12 VDC to 24 VDC and consumes 12.4 W.

What lens and environmental limits apply to MV-CL084-91GM?

The mount is M72*0.75 with a 12 mm flange back. The IP40 housing operates from –20 to 55 °C at 5% to 90% RH and measures 80 mm × 80 mm × 46.3 mm. Camera weight is 465 g.
