Local high-rate color acquisition
Full-resolution color capture reaches 60 fps on the Sony® IMX264 in MV-CS050-10UC. The 2/3-inch CMOS imager combines a global shutter, 3.45 µm pixels and 2448 × 2048 Bayer RG 8 output. USB3.0 carries the 5 MP stream to a nearby host, and the exposure system spans 1 µs UltraShort operation through 10 sec standard acquisition.
The 60 fps rate supports frequent sampling of moving assemblies for color classification, print alignment and component-state checks. Global exposure and the 1 µs minimum can limit motion displacement when illumination permits. The camera can take power through USB3.0, while a 6-pin P7 connector supplies an isolated trigger input, an isolated output and a bidirectional non-isolated control line.
MV-CS050-10GC-PRO uses the same Sony® IMX264, resolution and Bayer RG 8 format but sends 24.2 fps over Gigabit Ethernet with PoE. MV-CS050-60UC V5.0 matches the 60 fps USB rate while changing to a Stacked BSI sensor and adding high full well capacity and high sensitivity modes. MV-CS040-A0UC increases speed to 90.1 fps and uses a square 2048 × 2048 frame on a 1-inch sensor.

FAQ
What image rate is available from MV-CS050-10UC at 5 MP?
The maximum is 60 fps at 2448 × 2048 Bayer RG 8. The stream comes from a Sony® IMX264 2/3-inch global-shutter CMOS sensor with 3.45 µm × 3.45 µm pixels and 71 dB dynamic range.
How short is the MV-CS050-10UC exposure for moving targets?
UltraShort exposure covers 1 µs to 14 µs, followed by standard exposure from 15 µs to 10 sec. The global shutter exposes the full frame together, supporting motion capture under appropriately timed illumination.
Can MV-CS050-10UC run from the USB3.0 host connection?
Yes. USB3.0 can supply camera power, with typical consumption of 2.8 W at 5 VDC. A 9 VDC to 24 VDC supply is also accepted. The USB3.0 data interface is compatible with a USB2.0 connection.
What trigger connections are provided by the MV-CS050-10UC?
The 6-pin P7 connector carries one opto-isolated input, one opto-isolated output and one bidirectional non-isolated I/O. This gives a machine controller a hardware acquisition input and two options for coordinated signals.
How does MV-CS050-10UC differ from MV-CS050-10GC-PRO?
Both provide Sony® IMX264 color imaging at 2448 × 2048. MV-CS050-10UC reaches 60 fps over USB3.0 and can use USB power; MV-CS050-10GC-PRO reaches 24.2 fps over Gigabit Ethernet and supports PoE.
