How the MVisionPro Engineering Library is prepared
Who writes this library
MVisionPro writes, edits and takes responsibility for every library page. Every page is built only on named sources: Hikrobot datasheets and catalog records, the calculation engine behind the MVisionPro engineering tools, published standards and vendor documentation.
How an article is prepared
Each article starts with a fact pack: we collect every number, formula, model property and rule together with its source. The text is written from that pack alone. If a fact is missing, the text says so or leaves the point out; we do not fill the gap with a guess. Before publication, every worked example is recalculated with the public MVisionPro tools API, and every "Calculate for your case" link is opened and checked in a browser. Two independent reviews look for engineering errors, conclusions stronger than the numbers, and unclear explanations. The editor reads the text last.
What the labels mean
Every number in the text shows where it comes from. Calculated means the MVisionPro calculation engine produced it from the inputs stated in the example. Datasheet means it is taken from the vendor's published record for that exact model. Assumption means we chose it for the example. Rule of thumb or vendor guidance means a practical figure with its source named; it is not a standard.
What we do not claim
We do not run tests unless an article says so. A calculation is not a measurement. We do not invent customers, authors or results. We name equipment only together with the relevant datasheet fact, and we say what still needs checking. Prices and availability are not part of the library.
Reporting an error
If a number, a formula or a conclusion looks wrong, write to rea@mvisionpro.com with the page address and what you checked. We publish confirmed corrections with the date of the change.
