V5.0 mono modes for networked inspection
Selectable high-full-well and high-sensitivity operation gives MV-CS020-61GM V5.0 its role in the mono 2 MP range. The 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI CMOS sensor outputs 1624 × 1240 Mono 8 at 60.7 fps, with 4.5 µm pixels and a global shutter. Dynamic range is 76.1 dB. Exposure starts at 30 µs in high full well capacity mode or 5 µs in high sensitivity mode, allowing the signal strategy to follow the scene.
The camera can handle intensity-based edge, position, presence and surface-region checks where the same station may face different exposure demands. A global shutter keeps moving shapes consistent, and the 1624 × 1240 image provides a dense sampling grid. Gigabit Ethernet carries the stream and supports PoE, while a 6-pin P7 port offers 9–24 V DC power plus isolated input, isolated output and bidirectional I/O.
MV-CS020-61GC V5.0 is the Bayer GR 8 color counterpart at the same 60.7 fps, with 75.4 dB dynamic range. MV-CS020-61UM V5.0 preserves Mono 8, the dual modes and 76.1 dB but changes to USB 3.0 and reaches 99.6 fps in a 30 mm-deep body. MV-CS020-60GM uses a smaller 1/2.53-inch Stacked BSI sensor and fixed 23 µs to 10 sec exposure at 60.3 fps. Choose MV-CS020-61GM V5.0 for mono V5.0 operation with PoE.

FAQ
How do the two operating modes change exposure and gain?
High full well capacity mode provides 30 µs to 10 sec exposure with 0 dB to 12.8 dB gain. High sensitivity mode starts at 5 µs and extends gain to 24 dB, giving two control ranges on the same 1/1.7-inch sensor.
What Mono 8 rate is available through Gigabit Ethernet?
The camera delivers 1624 × 1240 Mono 8 at up to 60.7 fps. Gigabit Ethernet also supports Fast Ethernet, and the Stacked BSI sensor has 4.5 µm pixels. It uses C-mount optics.
Which power paths are supported by MV-CS020-61GM V5.0?
PoE can provide power over the Gigabit Ethernet connection. The camera also accepts 9–24 V DC through the 6-pin P7 port. Typical consumption is 1.6 W at 12 V DC.
When should the USB mono V5.0 model be selected instead?
MV-CS020-61UM V5.0 keeps the 1624 × 1240 Mono 8 stream, 1/1.7-inch Stacked BSI sensor, dual modes and 76.1 dB dynamic range, but raises speed to 99.6 fps through USB 3.0.
What housing and ambient conditions apply to the GigE body?
The IP40 C-mount housing is 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and approximately 100 g. Its operating range is –30 °C to 60 °C, with storage from –30 °C to 80 °C and humidity from 20% RH to 95% RH.
