Integrated optics and range position

Integrated imaging replaces separate lens and lighting selection in MV-CT2CG0032/G/16LC/WN. The assembly combines a 16 mm liquid lens, white light and a 3.2 MP Stacked BSI colour sensor in a 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm enclosure. Global-shutter 2048 × 1536 Bayer GR 8 acquisition reaches 77.5 fps with lossless compression enabled.

This form suits enclosed stations that need a pre-integrated optical head for colour, orientation or label checks. The white light spans 6000 K to 9000 K with a 90° irradiation angle, while High Sensitivity exposure can start at 5 µs. GigE supports PoE; the lens-cap assembly maintains IP67 when the lens, cap and cable are installed correctly.

MV-CT2CG0032/G supplies the same sensor, resolution and 77.5 fps in a 42 mm C-mount body for externally chosen optics and lighting. MV-CT2CG0050/G/16LC/WN retains the integrated 16 mm liquid lens and white light but raises resolution to 2448 × 2048 at 59.2 fps. MV-CT2CU0032/G reaches 104.8 fps at 2048 × 1536 through USB 3.0 without the integrated optical head.

Selection and applications

Integrated colour label inspection. Illuminated moving-part orientation checks. Sealed 3.2 MP optical-head deployment.

Minimum kit: MV-CT2CG0032/G/16LC/WN with its integrated C-mount 16 mm liquid lens, an 8-pin M12 X-Code GigE cable, and PoE or a 9–24 V DC supply.

Nearby in the range: MV-CT2CG0032/G — Prefer it for the same 2048 × 1536 imaging core with a separate C-mount lens; MV-CT2CG0050/G/16LC/WN — Prefer it for integrated 2448 × 2048 colour capture at 59.2 fps; MV-CT2CU0032/G — Prefer it for 104.8 fps over USB 3.0 without integrated lighting.

FAQ

What optical components are built into the /16LC/WN configuration?

The assembly contains a 16 mm liquid lens on an integrated C-mount and white illumination. The light has a 6000 K to 9000 K colour temperature, a 90° irradiation angle to the horizontal direction and approximate power of 7.7 W.

What cable and supply choices serve the integrated 3.2 MP head?

Image data uses 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet through an 8-pin M12 X-Code connector. PoE is supported, or the camera can receive 9–24 V DC through its 8-pin M8 A-Code power and I/O connector.

Does the integrated lens version keep the 77.5 fps camera performance?

Yes. It is specified for 77.5 fps at 2048 × 1536 in Bayer GR 8 when lossless compression is enabled, matching the standard MV-CT2CG0032/G imaging core. The sensor remains a global-shutter Stacked BSI CMOS device.

Which temperature limit applies to the complete lens-cap assembly?

The camera body is specified from –30 °C to 60 °C, but the lens-cap assembly has a 0 °C to 40 °C working range. For the complete integrated head, that narrower lens-cap range governs installation planning.

How does the /16LC/WN enclosure compare with the base 3.2 MP camera?

The integrated assembly measures 77 mm × 77 mm × 123.8 mm and includes the 16 mm liquid lens and white light. The underlying camera body is 42 mm × 42 mm × 43 mm, the same body dimensions listed for MV-CT2CG0032/G.

Can machine timing still control exposure on this integrated version?

Yes. High Sensitivity exposure spans 5 µs to 10 sec and High Full Well Capacity spans 30 µs to 10 sec. Trigger Width and Trigger Controlled modes are supported, with one opto-isolated input available on the M8 connection.
