Color GigE inspection with a 1/2-inch sensor
A 1/2-inch global-shutter CMOS sensor with 4.8 µm pixels gives MV-CU013-A0GC a larger optical format than the 1/2.7-inch 1.3 MP models. It produces 1280 × 1024 Bayer GB 8 color frames at 91.3 fps over Gigabit Ethernet. Exposure is adjustable from 10 µs to 10 sec, with 54 dB dynamic range and 0–16 dB gain.
Color discrimination, label-state checks and moving-part orientation are natural uses for this combination. The global shutter preserves frame geometry during motion, while the 10 µs lower exposure setting supports blur control when sufficient light is available. Optional PoE can combine network data and power, and the 6-pin P7 connector supplies isolated input and output paths plus one bidirectional non-isolated I/O.
MV-CU013-A0GM uses the same 1/2-inch format, 4.8 µm pitch and 91.3 fps but outputs Mono 8. MV-CU013-A0UC keeps the color and resolution while moving to USB 3.0 at 201.4 fps in a 30 mm-deep body. MV-CU013-80GC uses a smaller 1/2.7-inch sensor at 89.9 fps. Select MV-CU013-A0GC when color, GigE and the 1/2-inch optical format belong together.

Selection and applications
Color inspection of moving components. Label-state and orientation checks. PoE-capable GigE acquisition.
Minimum kit: Pair the camera with a C-mount lens for a 1/2-inch sensor, a Gigabit Ethernet cable, and optional PoE or a 9–24 V DC source.
Nearby in the range: MV-CU013-A0GM — Use it when Mono 8 is required with the same 1/2-inch format and 91.3 fps; MV-CU013-A0UC — Use it when color 1280 × 1024 must run at 201.4 fps through USB 3.0; MV-CU013-80GC — Use it for a smaller 1/2.7-inch sensor and 89.9 fps over Gigabit Ethernet.

FAQ
Which image and color format does MV-CU013-A0GC deliver at full rate?
Full-frame output is 1280 × 1024 Bayer GB 8 color at up to 91.3 fps. The sensor uses a global shutter, so the frame is exposed simultaneously for moving color targets rather than being assembled with staggered rolling-shutter timing.
How should a C-mount lens be matched to the A0GC sensor?
The lens needs to cover the 1/2-inch sensor and resolve the 1280 × 1024 grid across the required scene coverage. Pixel pitch is 4.8 µm, and the camera uses C-mount, which sets the mechanical interface for the optical assembly.
What are the Ethernet power choices for MV-CU013-A0GC?
The camera accepts 9–24 V DC and offers optional PoE. Typical consumption is 1.8 W at 12 V DC. Gigabit Ethernet also supports Fast Ethernet, so link selection should account for the required 91.3 fps image stream.
Can exposure be shortened for rapidly moving colored parts?
Exposure can be set from 10 µs to 10 sec. Together with the global shutter and 91.3 fps ceiling, the lower end supports motion control under sufficient illumination, while the long end is available for stationary low-light acquisition.
What installation envelope and environment does A0GC require?
The 100 g housing is 29 mm × 29 mm × 42 mm and rated IP30 with correct lens installation and wiring. Its operating range is 0–50 °C at 20–95% RH without condensation, defining the thermal and ingress conditions for mounting.
