Seventy-five-frame color inspection

Color capture at 1920 × 1280 and up to 75 fps makes MV-SC2023XC a high-rate option for detailed inspection. Its 1/3.52-inch CMOS imager uses 2.2 µm pixels and a global shutter, with exposure from 36 µs to 100 ms. A 16 mm focal length, mechanically autofocused M12 mount and selectable white, red, blue, IR, UV or red/blue illumination define a configurable optical head.

The processing set spans color and geometry measurement, code recognition, OCR, color recognition, anomaly detection, counting and coordinate transformation. These functions, combined with the global shutter and 75 fps ceiling, suit rapid code, presence and color checks on parts moving through a controlled view. A 17-pin M12 connector provides two isolated inputs, two isolated outputs and RS-232, while Fast Ethernet carries network traffic.

MV-SC2023XM pairs the same 1920 × 1280 grid and 2.2 µm pixel value with four white LEDs. MV-SC2013XC steps down to 1280 × 1024 with 2.7 µm pixels, while MV-SC3030XC increases the frame to 2048 × 1536 but runs at 40 fps. Select MV-SC2023XC when 75 fps color capture and code or color tools matter; choose MV-SC3030XC when added image detail outweighs cadence.

FAQ

What acquisition combination distinguishes MV-SC2023XC from nearby sensors?

It captures color images at 1920 × 1280 and up to 75 fps using a global shutter. The imager has a 1/3.52-inch format and 2.2 µm pixels, while exposure can be set between 36 µs and 100 ms.

Which recognition tasks can run inside the MV-SC2023XC sensor?

Listed functions include code recognition, OCR, category recognition, color recognition and color contrast. Pattern and contour counts, anomaly detection, fixture location and coordinate transformation can be combined with these recognition results.

What optical choices are built around the MV-SC2023XC imager?

The sensor lists a 16 mm focal length and an M12 mount with mechanical autofocus. White light is standard, while red, blue, IR, UV and red/blue two-color sources are optional; two green LEDs provide aiming.

How are trigger and result lines connected on MV-SC2023XC?

A 17-pin M12 connector provides two isolated inputs, two isolated outputs and one RS-232 connection in addition to power. The side button can trigger the device, and 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet is used for network communication.

What protection and power limits apply to an MV-SC2023XC installation?

The IP65 sensor operates from 24 V DC. With the light enabled, average consumption is 5 W and maximum consumption is 12 W. The body is rated for operation from 0 °C to 50 °C and weighs 118 g.
