Dense sampling with four white LEDs
A 1920 × 1280 frame with 2.2 µm pixel sampling gives MV-SC2023XM a denser image grid than the 1280 × 1024 SC2013 pair. The model is identified with four white LEDs, forming an integrated illumination baseline for scene development. This combination is suited to fixed-view inspections where small marks, narrow edges or compact regions must occupy more samples than an 800 × 600 or 1280 × 1024 device provides.
During setup, the required object area should be mapped across the 1920 × 1280 image and the smallest acceptance feature checked at the resulting scale. The 2.2 µm value is important when selecting the image-side magnification. Four white LEDs can support a local illuminated scene, but trials should confirm that the material produces adequate separation without reflections obscuring the finer sampled features.
MV-SC2023XC shares the 1920 × 1280 resolution and 2.2 µm pixels, while its fuller configuration adds color global-shutter acquisition at 75 fps and a 16 mm mechanically autofocused M12 optical path. MV-SC2013XM reduces resolution to 1280 × 1024 with 2.7 µm pixels; MV-SC3030XM increases it to 2048 × 1536 with 3.45 µm pixels at 40 fps. Choose MV-SC2023XM when its particular grid and four-white-LED arrangement fit the approved design.

Selection and applications
Fine-mark image acquisition. Dense edge sampling. Four-LED scene illumination.
Minimum kit: The initial imaging arrangement uses MV-SC2023XM with its four white LEDs, placed so the smallest required target detail is represented adequately within 1920 × 1280 pixels.
Nearby in the range: MV-SC2023XC — Prefer it for color global-shutter imaging at 1920 × 1280 and up to 75 fps; MV-SC2013XM — Choose it when 1280 × 1024 resolution with 2.7 µm sampling is sufficient; MV-SC3030XM — Use it for 2048 × 1536 mono global-shutter capture at up to 40 fps.

FAQ
What sampling grid does MV-SC2023XM provide for small features?
The listed image is 1920 × 1280 and the pixel value is 2.2 µm. These figures establish the available spatial samples; the actual target should be imaged at the intended distance to confirm that its smallest feature remains separable.
Which light source forms the baseline for MV-SC2023XM trials?
MV-SC2023XM is identified with four white LEDs. Evaluation should use the actual surface and target orientation, confirming that this white-light arrangement produces usable contrast across the required 1920 × 1280 region.
How does MV-SC2023XM sampling compare with MV-SC2013XM?
MV-SC2023XM raises the image from 1280 × 1024 to 1920 × 1280 and changes the listed pixel value from 2.7 µm to 2.2 µm. Both models use four white LEDs, so the main imaging difference is the pixel grid.
What additional capture facts are established for MV-SC2023XC?
The related MV-SC2023XC uses the same 1920 × 1280 resolution and 2.2 µm pixels, and explicitly adds a color CMOS global shutter with up to 75 fps acquisition, 36 µs to 100 ms exposure and a 16 mm M12 optical system.
When is the higher-grid MV-SC3030XM a relevant alternative?
MV-SC3030XM is relevant when 2048 × 1536 mono images are required. It uses 3.45 µm pixels, a global shutter and up to 40 fps, while MV-SC2023XM establishes a 1920 × 1280 grid with 2.2 µm sampling.
